Product Description:
The HABITAT photo ferment control unit package is designed for monitoring and controlling bioprocesses in research bioreactors. Equipped with LED panels, this system can function as a photobioreactor, suitable for applications like algae cultivation. The light intensity can be adjusted to simulate the day-night rhythm.
Control and Monitoring: Easily monitor and control the bioprocess and associated parameters using the included tablet and intuitive software. Choose between batch, fed-batch, and perfusion/continuous operating modes. The new Chaotic Mixing function ensures faster and more effective mixing when required. Calibration management, diagram overview, and complete process documentation are all included. Additionally, a software version compliant with FDA CFR Part 11 requirements is available.
Gas Supply: Built-in mass flow controllers for four separate gas lines (N2, O2, air, and CO2) ensure precise and individually adjustable gassing, tailored to your cells’ needs. Achieve flow rates ranging from 0.1 to 20 l/min.
Liquid Supply: Four integrated Watson Marlow pumps, with adjustable direction and speed, provide versatility in pumping different liquids (such as acid, base, anti-foam agent, and feeding solutions) in and out.
Sensors: The HABITAT photo ferment control unit enables the measurement of various parameters using sensors, including pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), temperature, filling level, and foam.
Temperature Control: Constant and precise temperature control during cultivation is guaranteed by the heating sleeve, adapted to the respective vessel size. (Heating sleeve included with the HABITAT cell vessel package).
