Working Principle

The system generates X-rays that penetrate the test material. Internal defects affect the intensity of the transmitted rays, which are captured on special X-ray film. After development, these films reveal defect types, positions, and dimensions. The generator uses a silicon-controlled single-phase bridge rectifier, transforming AC into DC, and then into high-voltage pulses that power the X-ray tube. The interaction between high-speed electrons and the anode emits X-rays used for imaging.

Operation Guidelines

1. Startup: Power on; digital display shows “HH”. After fan and system boot, standby mode is activated.

2. Exposure Time Setting: Use knob to select desired time.

3. Warm-Up Procedure: Crucial to improve vacuum level inside the tube and prevent damage.

4. Set Voltage: Adjust KV as required.

5. Begin Exposure: Press “HV” to initiate high voltage and start exposure countdown.

6. Cycle Completion: After exposure, the system auto-switches to rest mode before next cycle.

Delay Start Setting:

• Press and hold “HV” key for 3 seconds to enter delay setup (0.1–5 min).

• Release key to save; re-press to start delayed exposure.

To Cancel Delay:

• Turn off and restart the system; or

• Press and release “HV” to display “00”.
