Hanna HI706-25 Reagents for Phosphorus High Range Checker HC
The Hanna HI706-25 reagent set is specifically formulated for use with the Phosphorus High Range Checker® HC (HI706). Designed to deliver fast, accurate, and reliable results, these pre-measured reagents simplify phosphorus testing by eliminating preparation errors and ensuring consistency in every test.
Utilizing the Amino Acid Method, these reagents react with phosphorus to produce a blue coloration in the sample. The HI706 Checker® HC then interprets the intensity of the color to determine phosphorus concentration, displayed in parts per million (ppm or mg/L).
Key Features:
Pre-Measured Convenience: Each sachet contains the exact amount of reagent needed for one test, ensuring ease of use and accurate results.
Reliable Chemistry: Based on the Amino Acid Method, the reagent reaction produces a measurable blue tint, allowing for precise readings with the HI706.
Quick Testing Process: Designed for streamlined, four-step operation—zero, add reagent, insert sample, and read results.
Consistent Performance: Manufactured to high standards, ideal for regular water quality monitoring, environmental testing, and laboratory applications.
Optimized for HI706: Calibrated and tested for use with Hanna’s Phosphorus High Range Checker® HC, with an expected measurement range of 0.00 to 15.00 ppm phosphorus.

Best Practices for Accurate Readings:
Ensure the cuvette is clean, dry, and free of fingerprints or oil.
Avoid shaking the cuvette; swirl gently or tap to remove air bubbles.
Do not delay reading after adding reagents—timing affects accuracy.
Discard samples after measurement to prevent staining of the cuvette glass.
