Each bottle contains enough reagent for approximately 100 tests, making it ideal for routine testing in reef tanks, saltwater aquariums, and marine biology applications.

These reagents use a liquid colorimetric method to produce reliable results, and they are prepared with high-purity chemicals in Hanna’s ISO-certified facility.

• Turn on the HI780 Checker by pressing the ON/OFF button. Wait until “Add” and “C.1” with “Press” blinking are displayed.

• Fill the cuvette with 10 mL of your unreacted saltwater sample. Insert it into the checker and close the cap.

• Press the ON/OFF button again to zero the instrument. The display will change to “Add”, “C.2” with “Press” blinking.

• Remove the cuvette, unscrew the cap, and add 5 drops of HI780-25 reagent. Replace the cap and gently invert 5 times to mix.

• Reinsert the cuvette, press the ON/OFF button, and read the pH result. The checker will automatically turn off after 10 minutes of inactivity.
