The DURAN 217117608 is a 6,000 mL flat-bottom flask designed for large-scale laboratory heating, boiling, and reaction applications. Its flat base allows the flask to be placed directly on hot plates or lab benches without requiring a support ring, while the narrow-neck opening (~65 mm OD) helps control evaporation, reduce splashing, and allow for more controlled pouring. The beaded & reinforced rim adds mechanical strength to the neck, ensuring resistance against chipping and wear even under demanding laboratory conditions.
