Individual weights up to 500 mg come with a polypropylene case that protects against contamination during storage and handling. Weights from 1 g to 5 kg include a polycarbonate case, providing enhanced mechanical protection and clear visibility. OHAUS supplies 10 kg and 20 kg weights with a heavy-duty case to support safe transport and handling. The 50 kg weight is supplied without a case due to its size and specialized handling requirements.

For complete weight sets, OHAUS packages sets up to 500 g in a polycarbonate case. For sets above 500 g, OHAUS provides a wooden hinged case, and places an internal polycarbonate case inside to store all weights of 500 g and below. This packaging system improves organization, protection, and long-term usability.
