Bioreactors HABITAT cell IKA
The HABITAT cell control tower package is specifically designed for HABITAT’s cell culture applications, offering efficient bioprocess monitoring and control. This package includes a control unit with various connection options for gas supply, liquid addition, sensors, and temperature control, along with a tablet for easy and clear bioreactor operation.
Control and Monitoring: Effortlessly control and monitor the bioprocess and all associated parameters using the tablet connected to the control unit. The user-friendly software allows for intuitive operation and offers multiple operating modes such as batch, fed-batch, and perfusion/continuous. The new Chaotic Mixing function ensures faster and more effective mixing when necessary. The 10.4-inch tablet provides direct access to all actuators on the main screen. Calibration management, diagram overview, and comprehensive process documentation enhance operation. Optionally, a software version compliant with FDA CFR Part 11 requirements is available.
Gas Supply: Precisely adjust gas supply to meet the cells’ needs with built-in mass flow controllers for four separate gas lines (N2, O2, air, and CO2). Achieve flow rates ranging from 0.01 to 2 l/min.
Liquid Supply: Versatile liquid addition is facilitated by four integrated Watson Marlow pumps, with adjustable direction and speed, allowing for the pumping in and out of various liquids such as acid, base, anti-foam agent, and feeding solutions.
Sensors: HABITAT cell enables the measurement of various parameters using sensors, including pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), temperature, filling level, and foam.
Temperature Control: Ensure constant and precise temperature control during cultivation with the heating sleeve, adapted to the respective vessel size. (Heating sleeve included with the HABITAT cell vessel package).
