The Dispensette® S (identified by its red color-code) is perfect for dispensing aggressive reagents, including concentrated bases and acids such as H3PO4 and H2SO4 (with exceptions like HCl, HNO3, and HF), saline solutions, and many organic solvents.
The digital design features an easy-to-read digital display, allowing precise volume adjustments that are easy to reproduce. It includes a quick and tool-free calibration technology and automatic designation if the factory default settings are changed.
Usage limitations include:
- Operating temperature between +15 °C and +40 °C (59 °F to 104 °F) for both the instrument and reagent.
- Vapor pressure up to 600 mbar, with a recommendation to aspirate slowly above 300 mbar to prevent boiling.
- Kinematic viscosity up to 500 mm²/s (dynamic viscosity [mPas] = kinematic viscosity [mm²/s] x density [g/cm³]).
- Density up to 2.2 g/cm³.
