The HI98308 is equipped with an amperometric graphite electrode ensuring superior repeatability in measurements, as it doesn’t oxidize. Amperometric EC measurement is based on Ohm’s Law, I = V/R, where R relies on the distance between two pins and their surface. The non-oxidizing graphite pins provide an optimal surface for precise and reliable results. Calibration is simple: just submerge the electrode tip into the calibration solution and adjust the trimmer on the tester’s side.

Utilizing a conductometric measurement, the HI98308 Pure Water Test (PWT) enables users to assess the purity of distilled or demineralized water in laboratory or industrial settings. The PWT is ideal for various applications, including printed circuit board washing, laundry, steam cleaning, checking car battery water, and wherever distilled, demineralized, or pure water is used.
