Enhanced Temperature Control with ETS-D5 Solution for RCT Basic

The ETS-D5 Solution from RCT Basic combines the magnetic stirrer RCT Basic with the electronic contact thermometer ETS-D5, ensuring safer experiments and reactions.

Improved Temperature Regulation

By integrating both devices, the internal safety circuit, independent of the RCT Basic software, can be directly managed by the contact thermometer. In this setup, the maximum permitted temperature in the medium is independently limited from the setpoint temperature. If this value is exceeded, the heating function of the magnetic stirrer is automatically deactivated via the internal safety circuit until the device is restarted. Meanwhile, the stirring function is maintained to prevent boiling distortion.

The preset safety temperature of the heating plate remains available. The temperature limits set on the ETS-D5 and the safe temperature on the heating plate are all linked with OR. This means any potential error will result in heating being turned off. Moreover, the heating plate temperature can be adjusted separately from the medium, actively influencing the heating time.

Enhanced Display

With the ETS-D5, you refine the display of your magnetic stirrer. You can directly view both the set and actual medium temperatures with a resolution of 0.1 K on the contact thermometer. The setting accuracy is also improved from 1 K to 0.1 K with this combination. The heating plate temperature is also displayed on the RCT at that time.

Another advantage: The contact thermometer display can be positioned at eye level. This allows direct monitoring and control of the temperature measurement.

In addition to the magnetic stirrer and contact thermometer, this complete solution also includes all necessary mounting elements.
