Membrane Filter

This GN-Metricel membrane filter, with a 47-mm diameter and 0.45-µm pore size, meet or exceed all U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) specifications, ensuring complete retention and maximum recovery of bacteria. They are available in packs of 200, without pads, from Gelman/Pall. Additionally, black membranes for yeast and mold are available, making colonies more distinct and easier to count. Filters come in convenient, presterilized, individually sealed packs (P/N 1353001 and 2490300) or in resealable envelopes with 10 filters and 10 absorbent pads each (P/N 2126900). They are phosphate-free.
