The BD 600 is an excellent system for process control or as a secondary test to the Dilution Method. Its respirometric system addresses many issues associated with the dilution method for BOD analysis.
Significantly Reduced Sample Preparation
Start collecting data effortlessly by adding a sample to the bottle, adding a nitrification inhibitor, and placing the sensor head on the bottle. No need for sample dilutions or seeding, and concerns about air in the sample are eliminated with this respirometric test.
Automated Measurements
Measurements are taken and stored automatically at regular intervals, allowing you to recall data at your convenience. This eliminates the need for weekend trips to the lab or plant.
Easy Interpretation of Measurement Values
Results are displayed directly in mg/l BOD on a large, integrated display, which also shows the BOD curve. Each sensor head has an integrated LED for visual confirmation of the sample being displayed, reducing confusion and errors.
Consistent Measurement Conditions
The Automatic Start Function ensures all measurements are taken at a consistent sample temperature, avoiding skewed results from temperature or pressure fluctuations.
Sample Identification and Tracking
