The DURAN 212172404 is a 100 mL narrow-neck Erlenmeyer flask from the Super Duty line by DURAN® / DWK Life Sciences. It is built for higher mechanical strength and resistance to impact and wear, with a reinforced rim and extra thick walls compared to standard Erlenmeyer flasks. The flask is made of borosilicate glass 3.3, providing excellent chemical resistance and stable performance under thermal stress. It includes a white, easy-to-read printed scale (graduations) to help estimate volumes, and a fired-on white ceramic marking field for durable sample labeling. The “Super Duty” enhancements make it more durable and cost-effective over time because it has a longer service life and outstanding corrosion protection. The flask is autoclavable, enabling sterilization with steam (~121 °C).
