CANNON 9721-J56 Ubbelohde 75 Uncalibrated
The CANNON 9721-J56 Ubbelohde 75 Uncalibrated Viscometer is a precision suspended-level viscometer designed to measure the kinematic viscosity of transparent Newtonian liquids. Specifically, this Ubbelohde-type viscometer operates in accordance with ASTM D445 and ISO 3104, ensuring standardized and reproducible viscosity measurements. Therefore, it is suitable for laboratories that require accurate testing across a wide temperature range.
Product Features
First, the suspended-level design maintains a constant hydrostatic head during measurement. As a result, it eliminates the need for kinetic energy corrections across a broad viscosity range. In addition, the viscometer performs reliably at high temperatures above 93 °C (200 °F) and low temperatures below −18 °C (0 °F). Furthermore, it is widely used for evaluating jet fuels and hydraulic lubricants, where temperature stability and precision are critical. Moreover, this model is supplied as an uncalibrated viscometer, making it suitable for laboratories that conduct internal calibration or comparative testing.
Specifications
The viscometer measures kinematic viscosity over a range of 0.5 to 100,000 centistokes without requiring kinetic energy correction. It requires a minimum sample volume of 11 mL. Additionally, a minimum bath depth of 254 mm (10 in) is required, and the viscometer must be submerged to 220 mm (8.5 in) during operation. This model is supplied uncalibrated. However, a calibrated version is available under model 9721-K56. Please note that the holder is sold separately. Compatible holders include 9726-M70, 9726-M73, and 9726-M76.
Applications
Therefore, this viscometer is suitable for viscosity testing of transparent Newtonian liquids in research and quality control laboratories. In addition, it is commonly used for jet fuel, hydraulic oil, and lubricant analysis, especially under extreme temperature conditions. Moreover, it is ideal for chemical, petrochemical, aerospace, and energy laboratories that require reliable suspended-level viscosity measurement.
