CANNON 9721-K56 Ubbelohde 75 Calibrated
The CANNON 9721-K56 Ubbelohde 75 Calibrated is a high-precision suspended-level viscometer designed for measuring the kinematic viscosity of transparent Newtonian liquids. Specifically, this Ubbelohde-type viscometer complies with ASTM D445 and ISO 3104, ensuring standardized and reproducible viscosity measurements. Therefore, it is ideal for laboratories that require accurate testing across a wide temperature range.
Product Features
First, the suspended-level design maintains a constant hydrostatic head during measurement. As a result, it eliminates the need for kinetic energy corrections over a broad viscosity range of 0.5 to 100,000 centistokes. In addition, the viscometer performs reliably at temperatures above 93 °C (200 °F) and below −18 °C (0 °F). Furthermore, it is widely used for evaluating jet fuels and hydraulic lubricants, where precision and thermal stability are essential.
Moreover, this model is calibrated at 40 °C and supplied with a certificate of calibration and an instruction sheet. Importantly, the viscometer constant remains the same at all temperatures. In addition, its specifications conform to ASTM D446 and ISO 3105, ensuring traceable and reliable performance.
Specifications
The viscometer has an approximate constant of 0.008 cSt/s. Consequently, it covers a viscosity range of 1.6 to 8 cSt, corresponding to flow times of 200 to 1000 seconds. It requires a minimum sample volume of 11 mL. Additionally, a minimum bath depth of 254 mm (10 in) is required, and the viscometer must be submerged to 220 mm (8.5 in) during operation.
Please note that the holder is sold separately. Compatible holders include 9726-M70, 9726-M73, and 9726-M76.
Applications
Therefore, this viscometer is suitable for research and quality control laboratories analyzing transparent Newtonian liquids. In addition, it is commonly used for jet fuel, hydraulic oil, and lubricant testing, particularly at high or low temperatures. Moreover, it is ideal for chemical, petrochemical, aerospace, and energy industries that require precise suspended-level viscosity measurement.
