The Cannon 9722-G50 Ubbelohde 25 Semi-Micro Uncalibrated is a precision suspended-level semi-micro viscometer designed for measuring the kinematic viscosity of transparent Newtonian liquids using very small sample volumes. This instrument complies with ASTM D445 and ISO 3104, ensuring standardized and reproducible viscosity measurements for laboratory and research applications. Therefore, it is ideal for laboratories that require accurate results while minimizing sample consumption.
Product Features
First, the semi-micro Ubbelohde design allows viscosity testing with a very small sample volume of approximately 1 mL. As a result, it is especially suitable for valuable, limited, or research-grade samples. In addition, the initial sample can be diluted up to 20 mL for intrinsic viscosity determinations, making it highly suitable for polymer and solution studies.
Moreover, the suspended-level configuration maintains a constant hydrostatic head during measurement. Consequently, it provides consistent and reliable flow characteristics. This model is supplied as an uncalibrated viscometer, offering flexibility for laboratories that perform internal calibration. However, a calibrated version is available under model 9722-H50.
Specifications
The minimum required sample volume is approximately 1 mL. For intrinsic viscosity testing, the initial sample may be diluted up to 20 mL. The minimum bath depth required is 240 mm (9.5 inches) to ensure proper immersion and accurate measurement conditions.
Please note that the holder is sold separately. Compatible holder models include 9726-M70, 9726-M73, and 9726-M76.
