The Cannon 9723-S71 Zeitfuchs Cross-Arm 8 CALIBRATED is designed to measure the kinematic viscosity of transparent and opaque Newtonian liquids with high precision. Because it complies with ASTM D445 and ISO 3104 standards, laboratories can conduct viscosity testing using internationally accepted procedures. Moreover, the instrument can measure the kinematic viscosity of liquid (cutback) asphalts and road oils at 60 °C (140 °F). In addition, it can test asphalt cements at 135 °C (275 °F) according to ASTM D2170.

Furthermore, the Zeitfuchs cross-arm design improves laboratory efficiency. As a result, filling and cleaning can be performed without removing the viscometer from the constant temperature bath. Therefore, testing becomes faster while maintaining stable measurement conditions.
