It features approximate printed graduations for quick volume estimation and a uniform wall thickness to support safe heating. The narrow neck reduces evaporation and spillage risk, while the beaded rim provides added strength during handling. A Retrace Code is included for batch traceability and quality assurance.

The flask complies with DIN ISO 1773 standards and is fully autoclavable (~121 °C), making it suitable for repeated sterilization in laboratory environments.
