The DURAN 212174405 is a 500 mL Erlenmeyer flask, narrow-neck type, from the Super Duty series by DURAN® / DWK Life Sciences. Constructed from high-quality borosilicate glass 3.3, it boasts superior chemical resistance and good tolerance to thermal changes. Its ‘Super Duty’ design includes a reinforced rim which provides improved mechanical strength, higher impact resistance, and greater durability under frequent handling and in challenging lab conditions.

The flask features approximate printed graduations along its body for quick volume estimation, a fired-on white ceramic marking field for sample labeling that endures cleaning and sterilization, and uniform wall thickness to ensure more even heat distribution and reduce thermal stress. It is autoclavable, allowing for reception of steam sterilization (~121 °C), and includes batch identification (retrace code) for traceability.  Physical Specifications:
