The DURAN 212835459 is a 1,000 mL baffled Erlenmeyer flask designed for optimized mixing and aeration in microbial and cell culture applications. Manufactured from DURAN® borosilicate glass 3.3, it provides outstanding chemical resistance, low thermal expansion, and long service life under repeated heating and sterilization cycles.

This flask is equipped with four bottom baffles, which disrupt laminar flow during shaking, creating turbulence that improves oxygen transfer and gas exchange—critical for healthy culture growth. The GL 45 screw thread neck is supplied with a membrane screw cap, which allows controlled aeration while minimizing contamination.

Its wall thickness is reinforced compared to standard flasks, giving it greater mechanical stability and durability in high-demand laboratory environments. Dimensions are approximately Ø 136 mm base × 221 mm height, with a neck diameter of 30 mm. The flask also includes approximate graduations for volume estimation.
