The DURAN 218034452 is a 500 mL Erlenmeyer flask with a DIN screw neck (GL 32) and a PBT screw cap, constructed from high-quality DURAN® borosilicate glass 3.3 (“Glass Type I / neutral glass”), which meets USP, EP, and JP standards. It features approximate graduations printed on the body for volume estimation. The cap is autoclavable up to approximately 180 °C (cap should be undone before autoclaving).

The flask is also equipped with a retrace (batch) code for quality traceability and a certificate available via the manufacturer’s website. Its design is suitable for storage and cultivation, making it useful in microbiology, cell culture, reagent prep, and general lab tasks where secure closure is beneficial.
