Description

Caution:

This instrument measures liquid content by determining the refractive index of the liquid, based on the principle of total internal reflection. Therefore, it cannot be used for non-translucent liquids such as milk.

The Brix scale indicates the number of grams of sucrose per 100 grams of an aqueous solution. If the target solution primarily consists of materials other than sucrose, conversion of the measured values is necessary for accurate measurement.
