Description:
The SK-100R handheld refractometer measures liquid content by determining the refractive index using the principle of total internal reflection. It is ideal for transparent liquids such as fruit juice, beverages, antifreeze solutions, brake oil, cutting lubricants, and cleaning agents. However, it is not suitable for non-translucent liquids like milk.
The Brix scale reflects the concentration of sucrose in an aqueous solution. For solutions composed primarily of substances other than sucrose, conversion of the measured values may be necessary to ensure accuracy.
