This checker uses an EPA-adapted bicinchoninate method, where copper in the sample reacts with the reagent to develop a purple tint, which is then measured by a built-in LED light source and silicon photocell. The result is displayed on a large digital screen, eliminating the need for color matching or subjective interpretation.

Each unit comes ready to use with reagents for 6 tests and is compatible with HI-702-25 refill reagent sets for continued use.
