The Mitech MT-2XCF is a rechargeable portable magnetic flaw detector featuring frequency conversion and rotating magnetic field technology. It operates based on the principle that magnetic leakage fields attract magnetic particles, allowing defect detection by visually observing particle accumulation on the workpiece.
Equipped with a high-capacity lithium battery, inverter, and a phase-shift signal processor, the MT-2XCF eliminates the limitations of traditional AC-powered detectors. With low power consumption, it supports continuous operation for over 6 hours. The battery can be charged both during operation and when the device is powered off, making it ideal for on-site inspections.
The unique frequency conversion communication system allows the operator to adjust the current frequency according to flaw depth, significantly enhancing detection sensitivity. Working Principle
When the ferromagnetic workpiece is magnetized using an electromagnetic yoke, flaws such as cracks or inclusions generate leakage magnetic fields. Sprinkled magnetic powder is drawn to these fields and accumulates, forming visible indications that reveal the location, shape, size, and orientation of defects under proper lighting.

Operation Guidelines & Precautions
Ensure proper contact between probe surface and workpiece for accurate detection
Avoid impacts or drops to prevent damage to the probe
Do not operate buttons with oily or wet fingers
Avoid powering the device on and off rapidly; wait at least 5 seconds after shutdown before restarting
Disconnect and reconnect charging cables only when power is off
Clean with a soft, dry cloth after each use and store in a dry, ventilated area
Do not disassemble the device without authorization
If the probe cable shows signs of overheating, stop use immediately and seek maintenance before reuse
Always use the original battery pack and charger to prevent overcharging
