Applications
Ideal for predictive maintenance, fault detection, and routine inspection in:
Manufacturing & Industrial Equipment
Electric Power Systems
Metallurgy & Heavy Machinery
Automotive & Vehicle Maintenance
Specifically useful for rapid checks on bearings, motors, gears, fans, lathes, and other rotating parts.
Working Principle
The MV800C utilizes the piezoelectric effect of quartz or PZT crystals. When subjected to vibration, the crystal produces an electrical charge that is converted into an electrical signal by the accelerometer. This signal is then processed and displayed on the LCD as vibration acceleration, velocity, or displacement.
Operating Instructions & Tips
Ensure probe pressure is between 5N–10N for accurate readings.
Maintain a correct probe angle during measurements.
Avoid using pliers or applying excessive force to prevent damage.
Different probe types may yield varying results, especially at high frequencies.
In real-world usage, the maximum acceleration is typically around 50 m/s², due to probe collision limitations.
Maintenance Guidelines
Always use the protective sheath to prevent damage.
Replace the battery promptly when low; remove it during extended storage.
Wipe the instrument clean with a soft cloth after use; avoid exposure to water, oil, or corrosive substances.
Do not attempt to disassemble the device; return it to the manufacturer for servicing in case of malfunction.
