Working Principle
This detector uses short-wave radiation—generated internally and spectrally similar to X-rays—to penetrate conveyor belts. A collimator focuses the beam, and variations in absorption (caused by material density differences) are captured by a sensitive flat-panel image intensifier. Defects like rust, broken wires, or delaminations appear as contrast anomalies on the screen, enabling clear, real-time imaging of internal belt conditions.
