Product Overview
The Mitech MXT-2000 is an advanced portable belt flaw detector engineered for non-destructive testing (NDT) of conveyor belts. Utilizing short-wave radiographic technology, it incorporates a high-voltage generator, flat-panel image intensifier, and onboard SD card storage in a compact and robust design. It offers real-time, high-sensitivity imaging with user-friendly operation, helping coal mining and industrial facilities detect hidden flaws, reduce downtime, and ensure operational safety.
With clear image output and versatile data capture functions, this system is a reliable tool for quality control, field diagnostics, and laboratory testing.
Applications
Coal Mining: On-site inspection of conveyor belt systems
Education: Experimental teaching tools in universities and technical colleges
Research: Flaw detection in material research applications
Manufacturing: Quality assurance in wire rope and belt production
Working Principle
The MXT-2000 operates on short-wave radiation technology, emitting energy similar to X-rays through a built-in high-voltage device. A collimator restricts the beam to the inspection area. When this radiation passes through a belt, density variations (such as steel cords, broken wires, or internal defects) alter absorption levels, which are then captured by the flat-type image intensifier. This creates a high-contrast image that reveals internal anomalies in real time, enabling effective non-destructive testing.
Working Conditions
