Mitech XXHA-3005 Inflatable X-Ray Flaw Detector
Product Overview
The Mitech XXHA-3005 is a portable inflatable X-ray flaw detector specifically designed for high-performance nondestructive testing (NDT). By utilizing the differences in X-ray absorption across various material densities and thicknesses, this device accurately identifies internal flaws such as cracks, voids, and inclusions. Its compact, lightweight build and durable design make it especially suitable for on-site inspections in harsh environments and confined spaces.
Engineered for precision and reliability, the XXHA-3005 delivers high-quality radiographic imaging with excellent clarity, enabling inspectors to clearly visualize the size, location, and shape of internal defects on X-ray film. This system is ideal for use across a wide range of industries including shipbuilding, aerospace, railways, petrochemical, pressure vessels, boilers, and more.

Working Principle
The XXHA-3005 generates X-rays which penetrate the test material. Differences in material thickness and composition result in varying absorption levels, forming a contrast image on special X-ray film. This image reveals internal discontinuities, allowing inspectors to assess defect type, size, and position. The system uses a silicon-controlled single-phase rectifier circuit and pulse transformer to deliver stable high-voltage output to the X-ray tube, ensuring consistent radiation.
