Working Principle
The XXG-3505 operates by emitting X-rays that penetrate a material and are captured on a film. Variations in material thickness and density cause different levels of absorption, creating high-contrast images of internal defects such as cracks, voids, and inclusions. The photographic effect of the X-rays on specialized film allows for precise evaluation of defect size, shape, and location.
Applications
The Mitech XXG-3505 is ideal for a variety of industrial non-destructive testing applications, including:
Shipbuilding & Maritime Engineering
Aerospace and Aviation
Railway Infrastructure
Oil & Gas Pipelines
Pressure Vessels & Boilers
Chemical Processing Plants
Defense & Military Manufacturing
Heavy Machinery and Structural Steel Fabrication
Operating Instructions
Startup: Power on the unit, allow warm-up, and set the exposure time.
Adjust Parameters: Set the required kilovoltage (KV) and current (mA) before initiating X-ray generation.
Exposure Process: Press the “HV” button to begin X-ray emission; countdown begins for set duration.
Safety Delay: Use the delayed start option to safely move away from the radiation zone.
Shutdown & Rest Time: After exposure, the system enters a cooldown phase to maintain internal stability.
