Features

• This airplane-shaped vane serves as a wind speed and direction sensor, designed for use with the Digital Indicator with Alarm WVAT6D0-3-00 (Cat. No. 7910-50).
• The indicator processes signals from this sensor to display both instantaneous and average wind speeds digitally, and wind direction on an LED panel, represented by one of 16 compass points.
• Alarms can be set and output via relay contact, hazard lamp, and buzzer. Additionally, analog and RS-422 digital outputs to external devices are available upon request.
• The sensor employs a brushless potentiometer for wind direction and an optical pulse sensor for wind speed, ensuring high reliability.
• Wind direction is indicated by a lamp corresponding to one of 16 cardinal directions, and wind speed (both instantaneous and average) is shown as digital figures.
• Three alarm levels can be set. When thresholds are reached, the relay contact, hazard lamp, and buzzer are activated.
